HIV/AIDS is an issue that I have at heart, and I became aware and involved at the age of 16, volunteering with youth organizations that support people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA’s). I worked in many areas of peer education and counseling. I started experiencing what partnership means, and how important this is with HIV/AIDS. I am inspired by passionate enthusiasm, and by optimism (nice generic answers, I know). I'm also very inspired when I see people speak out about things that matter to them, and speak up when they see wrong doings in the world. The prospect of travel inspires me, as do children, especially children that are already survivors in one way or another. ( read more)
